Now, this might be a bit of a challenge for some. But, don't despair, it's not that complicated, and some of you might actually get to enjoy doing a little bit of indoor gardening. 

From basil to dills and even tomatoes or peppers, all these can grow in your flat with minimum effort. They do not take a lot of space - you can put them anywhere you want around your flat or balcony. No matter where you decide to put the plants and as long as you provide them with care, they will grow and be a healthier and cheaper alternative to store bought plants. Another perk that comes with growing your own plants is that they will save you from spending money in the store on plants ever again. 

You can enjoy the smell of you mint or any other plant in your home, adding a cozy garden flavor that might be beneficial for a more relaxing environment. Challenge:


Try to start growing your food. Give basil, mint or dill a try. These are some of the herb plants that you can use on a daily basis.
As for pots you can use any jar you have left from pickles or tomato sauce, they will do just fine, even a bigger mug could do the job. So no need for extra money spent on pots.
